libjs-json software package provides JSON encoders/decoders implemented in JavaScript, you can install in your Debian 8 (Jessie) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install libjs-json
libjs-json is installed in your system.
Make ensure the libjs-json package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep libjs-json *
You will get with libjs-json package name, version, architecture and description in a table
